With more than 15 years of experience in pad printing and screen printing, Peter Bergstein started looking for a new and different industrial print technique in 2001.

A technique, that was different from existing printing techniques like pad printing and screen printing, where personalization, full color printing and fast printing were key.

After successfully converting graphic flatbed printers to industrial printers, with more than 160 printers sold, a new idea was born to print industrial products in a single pass.

A new printing technique was developed that had not yet been established anywhere. The first generation of DIGI-printers, that were engineered and built in-house, found their customers worldwide and the first successes were achieved.

The third generation of these printer series were launched in the market in 2022. Printers that meet all the high demands of customers, such as speed, print quality and sustainability.

With this success, the company is growing as well as the number of customers and printers worldwide. With in-house engineering in hardware and software, Bergstein provides a total print solution engineering for every customer.

Bergstein’s own development of solid ink systems, LED-lamps, and UV-lamps, as well as their innovative transport system, new cassette printhead system and sophisticated HMI software, ensuring the right solution for each customer.
